The Contractor would like to have some specific advice for their series of projects involving various facility management and maintenance contracts. The major challenge is to choose the correct form of contract under NEC to cover their multiple-site contracts procured at different times of the year.
A tailor-made workshop has been delivered to discuss the use of Framework Contract (FC), Engineering & Construction Contract (ECC), and Term Services Contract (TSC) and the relevant additional conditions of contract under Option Z to cater for the specific needs. During the workshop, we looked into some of their current contract clauses and discussed their implications. Some suggestions to future contract drafting were also given.

Today is a great building block to get better at managing the contract. It made a difference. There are a lot of habits formed over the years now being undone. It fosters the dialogues between us and our client. Our PMs are also now a lot more contract aware, and I hear them exchanging views they did not do before.
It has been a great success, and we are on a journey now towards better and more regular compliance to NEC standards.
